Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge was selected as the second recipient of the Baton Rouge Astronomical Society's Good Lighting Award.
In the words of our photographer who captured the night shots on location, "This place was D-A-R-K." Once again, we were happy to be able to feature such a large facility utilizing full cut off fixtures and great lighting design. Hopefully this is just a glimpse of the future of large facility lighting techniques.
Present at our presentation of the award were (from left to right in the photo): Wally Pursell, BRAS Co-founder; Doug Lacy, PE, CCRD Partners, Senior Associate, Electrical Engineer; Ben Toman, BRAS Vice-President; Stan Shelton, Woman's Hospital Senior Vice-President of Planning, Development and Construction; and Susan Miller, BRAS member and Lighting Committee member.
